Music Notes for October

              On Sunday, November 23, the Central Chancel Choir will combine with the choir of 1st Avenue Presbyterian Church and orchestra to sing Te Deum by Mark Hayes in our worship service. This exciting 13 minute work will be part of a Thanksgiving service that includes the congregations of both churches.

              As with any large work that we sing with orchestra, I am inviting members of the congregation to sing with us. The only requirement will be attending the first 30 to 45 minutes of our Thursday rehearsals to practice the piece. Also, please plan on keeping Saturday, November 22, available on your calendar for the final dress rehearsal.
