VOLUNTEER WITH THE YOUTH: Spring skiing. Mission work. Confirmation. These things are just a small part of the Youth program for 2008-2009. You can be a part of the wonderful world of Youth ministry. We are looking for people to hang out with our Youth during their ski weekend in February, and work with them on a weekend mission trip in March. Please contact Jennifer Kalas-Dreux if you are interested in exploring the joys and humor of Youth work with Central’s growing Youth group. YOUTH SUNDAYS: Youth Sundays are on the fifth Sunday of the month. The youth of Central are key participants in the worship experienced on these days. They are responsible for ushering, greeting guests and members, organizing and working fellowship hour immediately following service as well as being a participant in the leadership of worship as they take the role of liturgist. Youth are also integrated into the music experience of worship as they play instruments or sing. |
