  <title>A Transfigured Walk</title>
  <itunes:author>Dr. Louise Westfall</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle>Finally, friends, spiritual vision is not an end in itself. Its power lies in the ability to prepare us for living faithfully, day after day. The biblical account of the moment that changed everything for Peter, James and John did not end on the mountain top. Jesus led them back down to the places where human life is lived. He prepared them&#8212;and he prepares us---for the work ahead&#58; for healing, witnessing, teaching, giving, loving, and keeping on until the Kingdom comes, on earth as it is in heaven. AMEN.</itunes:subtitle>

  <title>Healing Anger</title>
  <itunes:author>Dr. Rev. Louise Westfall</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle>When Jesus came face to face with human need, he got angry. He did not sit around and theologize about it. He said, I choose to be part of the healing. He reached out, he got involved, he touched persons and healed them. I guess it&#8217;s true we may never &#8220;prove&#8221; the existence of God to the satisfaction of our atheist brothers and sisters. But we can show them how word becomes flesh and love becomes real through imperfect people making the imperfect world better for all of us. And we can invite them to join us. Thanks be to God&#33;</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:subtitle>Because Isaiah knows that the power of holding on even when you&#8217;ve been counted out, of showing up even when you know you don&#8217;t belong is where the power of God&#8217;s grace and strength is most evident.&#13;&#10;Whether it&#8217;s the whole community exiled in a strange land, the one sheep straying from the 99 or the 10&#37; falling away while the 90&#37; continue the institution for the next generation, true Christian faith does not pride itself in creating outsiders but in creating communion. <title>Fishing for Leaders</title>
  <itunes:author>Dr Louise Westfall</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle>We don&#8217;t know all that lies ahead. And yet, in a way we do. When Jesus joins hands with ordinary people, extraordinary things happen. The blind see. The lame walk&#59; no, they dance. Mountains move. Roadblocks crumble. The dead are raised. Enslaved people breathe free. The brokenhearted are comforted. Children cheer, and old people weep for joy. Jesus prefaced his earthly ministry by putting the world on notice&#58; The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near. This is the place, now is the time, we are the ones. Thanks be to God&#33;</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:subtitle>Friends, in the biblical story, the Wisemen were guided to return home &#8220;another way&#59;&#8221; they weren&#8217;t the same at the journey&#8217;s end that they were at its beginning. This is an enterprise of faith. You and I can only imagine the ways we&#8217;ll be changed because we tried to walk in the light of the Lord, in the power of the star of Bethlehem. Friends, go out from here in peace to where God is calling you. Go out with courage, perhaps not knowing exactly where to go, but trusting that God&#8217;s hand will lead you and God&#8217;s love support you, through Jesus Christ the Light of the World, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, today and always. ALLELUIA&#33; AMEN.</itunes:subtitle>

Can we get a witness&#63; Amen.</itunes:subtitle>

<title>Getting in Shape for Christmas &#40;I&#41;&#58; Health Assessment</title>
  <itunes:author>Dr. Louise Westfall</itunes:author>
<itunes:subtitle>Brothers and sisters, are you ready for the beginning of the good news&#63; It won&#8217;t conclude some 21 days from now, as Advent finally gives way to Christmas. The baby in the manger grew up to become the One who changes us from the inside out. The One who even now is making all things new&#59; the One who heals every broken heart, straightens every crooked place, and satisfies the longing of every hungry soul. So you and I can do those things too. AMEN.</itunes:subtitle>

The baby in the manger grew up to become the One who changes us from the inside out. The One who even now is making all things new&#59; the One who heals every broken heart, straightens every crooked place, and satisfies the longing of every hungry soul. So you and I can do those things too. AMEN.</itunes:summary>
