The Labyrinth at Central Presbyterian Church
Our labyrinth will be open for your use every Wednesday through April 4 and every day April 1-6 (Holy Week).
After April 6, our labyrinth will close for the summer so it can be cleaned and revamped for fall.
We are a house of prayer. Who is to judge one form of prayer as superior over another when it opens one’s heart to God?
Some find the labyrinth odd or even uncomfortable. Some just “don’t get it”. But to more than a million labyrinth walkers in the U.S. alone, it is a way to actively pray and center. There is no creedal statement of belief. There is no “right” way. There is simply the walking on the one wandering path to the center and out again. Some breathe slowly, some go quickly, and some walk it for an hour. Whoever you are, whatever age or creed, you are all welcome here.
