The concert dawns with Lili Boulanger’s One Spring Morningthen rises onto Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy. Pianist Stephanie Cheng shines on Maurice Ravel’s jazzy piano concerto before the sun sets on Debussy’s stormy La Mer. The night ends with Ravel’s hypnotic crowd-pleaser, Boléro, for a thrilling finale!
