WHI plans to reopen in late fall 2021 by hosting women experiencing homelessness in churches for safe overnight accommodations. WHI has raised $50,000 of the $150,000 needed to reopen. Ride for Team Zimbabwe in the Elephant Rock Ride at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, CO. There is also a virtual ride option and kids under 18 ride free. This intergenerational trip works with La Puente, an organization serving the San Luis Valley’s homeless and community members in crisis. Activities will include working with PALS (Positive Activities Lead to Success) children’s program and making facility repairs.
