Thrife: Creating a Thriving Spiritual Life

Thrife: Creating a Thriving Spiritual Life offers the potential for a transformed life.  Through this 12 week course, I want to help you bring your creative soul to life, to let your Higher Power/Spirit/Energy/God – whatever it may be for you – become manifest in your life!  Thrife is for here and now in the middle of this beautiful and messy world!

Thrife is not interested in explaining your Higher Power/Spirit/Energy/God. Like electricity, you don’t have to understand it.  The point is to use that power by whatever name you call it, and learn to Trust it, Call on it, Pay attention to it, and Let it flow in you and through you!  This is an exercise in deep living.  Thrife!

Thrife, is a word I made up, but it has deep roots. One deep root is Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way.  But Thrife is not about becoming an artist in the traditional sense.  It’s about understanding that we are created “in the image of God” and if that God/Higher Power/Spirit/Energy is creative – and the complex universe is evidence enough – then we, too, are creative!  Creativity is not limited to being an artist, painter, writer, dancer, poet, or musician.  Creativity is expressed in every person according to the gifts given to their souls.

Thrife’s other deep root comes from the search for wisdom that draws from Christianity, my tradition, from other religious and spiritual traditions, and from those individual souls who are not religious at all, but who have found the way to their creative centers.

Thrife is here to help you understand that we ALL have creative souls and that there are an infinite ways of being creative – in your work, your play, your relationships, and in the very way you approach Life.  When you find your creative soul and the gifts you have to offer, they benefit not only you – they can benefit the World!

May we all experience a deeper Thrife!
