Whether you’re with us for the first time or the thousandth time, whether you’re in doubt or are devout, no matter who you are, what experience you bring, or what questions you have, you are welcome here.
Central believes in fostering a worship service that is engaging to all ages, in the full inclusion of LGBTQ people, and in an inclusive communion open to all regardless of membership or baptism status and served on the first Sunday of every month. We seek to welcome all and celebrate our differences in race, class, and sexual orientation.
In-person Worship in the Sanctuary Sunday Mornings at 10:30am
The Recovery Team and staff, in consultation with the county of Denver health department, the CDC, and the Presbytery of Denver, have developed the following protocols to ensure the safety and health of our community:
The congregation will enter the Sanctuary through the wooden doors at the corner of 17th and Sherman.
There are no capacity limits, and pre-registration is not necessary.
In accordance with the new public health order for Denver, all individuals two years of age and older will be required to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose when inside Central’s Sanctuary.
By entering the building you certify that (a) you do not currently have COVID-19; (b) you are not experiencing COVID symptoms; (c) you have no reason to quarantine; and (d) you will wear a mask and practice social distancing.
There is an ADA portable restroom available near the church entrance.
Music will be provided by the masked and vaccinated chancel choir with some limited opportunities for congregational singing.
Nursery and child care will not be available, due to construction. Worship bags will be available and a Children’s Bible Story will be told each week during the service.
There will be no in-person Fellowship Hour. Join us for Zoom Fellowship immediately following the service:
